# Metadata 개요

VPC 환경에서 이용 가능합니다.

## 개요

실행중인 서버 인스턴스를 관리하는 데 사용될 수 있는 서버 인스턴스 관련 데이터를 제공합니다. 또한 서버 인스턴스에 부여된 역할 (Role) 에 대한 정보를 조회하고 해당 역할 (Role) 에 대한 임시 Access Key (STS) 를 발급 받을 수 있습니다. 각 경로 호출의 결과로는 하위 항목의 리스트를 라인 구분자 (\n) 로 구분하여 나열하거나, 또는 해당 경로에 해당하는 결과 정보가 될 수 있습니다. 서버 인스턴스에 직접 액세스할 수 있는 모든 사용자와 서버 인스턴스에서 실행 중인 모든 소프트웨어는 Metadata에 접근할 수 있으므로 역할 (Role) 설정 등에 주의가 필요합니다. 리소스가 없는 경우 `404 - Not Found HTTP` 오류 코드가 반환됩니다. HTTP 방식의 호출을 통해서 이루어집니다.
